New Year, New UFO Lists

It is a New Year and that means a new UFO list.  Our lists were due in December, did you get yours in?  If not, you still can.  The first UFO is due at the February meeting.  Contact me if you still want to do a UFO list this year.  We had a lot of finished UFOs last year.  Some were not done on time, but were finished later...YEAH!  So proud of Audrey and Claudia, who finished all the quilts on their list last year, on time!
What is a UFO, you ask?  Well, it is a quilt that has been started and not finished.  It may have been started yesterday or 10 years ago.  UFO = UnFinished Object (or project).  It can be at any stage of the process.  It could be a thought or a top that needs quilting or blocks that need to be set together or it may just need binding.
Here are the "rules":
A list of 6 unfinished projects that the participate wants to finish in 2014 is turned in.  Every 2 months a dice will be rolled and that number will correspond with a number assigned to a project.  Example, in December the number 5 was the number.  The project listed at number 5 will need to be completed by the February meeting.  That gives the participate 2 months to complete the project.  Each participate turned in $6 ($1 for each project).  If she finishes her project on time, she will receive $1 back.  Plus, her name goes in to a drawing.  If she does not finish, her $1 goes into a "Pot".  At the end of the year, a name is drawn and that person gets the money from the projects that were not finished.  What happens if everyone finishes all her projects?  I don't know, it hasn't happened yet.  I guess no one will be a big winner.  Each person will have her money back and 6 projects finished!
This year we have 12 ladies who turned in their list, with 6 quilts on each list.  Two ladies turned in two lists (Audrey and Terrie)!  One of my lists are small quilts and the other is large quilts.  And, they are all tops that need quilting.
I am going to try to post everyone's list, so they can check here to know what project is due next.
