Finally!

I finally figured out how to get it at the top so you could see it.  Hope you are keeping up with the 2014 Mystery Quilt.  I have not been able to keep up since Track started.  I spent most of today working on blocks.  I cut several out within the last week, so I could sew them when I had time.  Today at the quilt shop, I sat down and sewed several blocks together.  I am almost caught up.  Mary decided she would just sew what she had together and make a quilt for the soldiers at Fort Leonard Wood.  She decided she didn't need to finish the whole quilt.  I told her that, since I am presenting the Mystery Quilt, I needed to finish it.  I think I have cut too many blocks for Part 3, so I may have some left over.  Maybe...start another one?  Maybe not!  Who knows.  Depends on how well I like it once it is finished. 
I have not posted pictures from the last couple of meetings.  I took pictures with my phone the last meeting, because I couldn't find my camera.  I finally found it today.  I was on a mission...look until I found!  And I found it.  It is easier to post pictures from my camera than my phone.  I needed to take pictures of the Mystery Quilt Blocks and get those posted, which I did today. 
At the April meeting, our UFOs were due.  Several were finished!  Yeah!  Busting those UFOs!  I got one of mine done.  The other I am still working on.  The finished edge is taking longer than a regular binding would, but that is the way I want it. 
I will try to post pictures from the meeting soon.  I'll see if I can get them off my phone and onto the computer.
I hope everyone is enjoying this warmer weather!  I know that I am!  The track meet Friday night was so nice.  Beautiful weather for a track meet!  It's about that time of year that everyone is working outside...planting gardens (vegetables and flowers), cleaning up the yard, mowing the yard.  My husband mowed on the yard today.  Love to see a fresh cut yard.
Well, I'm off to do some sort of quilting...either piecing more Mystery Quilt Blocks or quilting Alyce's quilt.  I have not had any time to quilt on it this week.  I had hoped to get it done this week, but the week ended very quickly.  So, I'd better go do something.
